The Trans-Siberian

This route should be included on any top of legendary trips around the world. The Trans-Siberian is a 9,288 km train route from Moscow to the city of Vladivostok, near the Pacific Ocean. In this great route, you can link other 2 fabulous trips: The Trans-Manchurian and the Trans-Mongolian.

The Trans-Manchurian makes the same route as the Trans-Siberian to Társkaya and ends in Beijing. The Transmongolian coincides with the Trans-Siberian to Ulan Ude and ends in the Chinese city of Jining. This route takes seven days of the train to cross all Russia, but you have the opportunity to enjoy intermediate stops. If you have several weeks, don’t miss the chance to visit the incredible Lake Baikal.

Route 66

Route 66 is one of the most mythical routes in the world. Originally, this route connected the city of Chicago to Los Angeles, in a route of 3,939 km that crossed 8 states of the United States. Because of the several highways that nowadays link the country, this route is abandoned but remains an icon of both the United States and the world.

Camino de Santiago

This is another famous trip in the world. The route comprises several footpaths to reach the city of Santiago de Compostela, emulating the journey made by pilgrims from all over the world to venerate the relics of the Apostle James the Greater. This route is simply beautiful, reason why attracts a large number of pilgrims each year. The French Way, linking Saint Jean Pied de Port with Santiago de Compostela is the most important and popular and consists of 31 stages and 775 km.

The Silk Road

Certainly, a fabulous legendary trip that everyone should is the Silk Road. This route had its beginnings in the first century BCE and was followed by caravans crossing Europe and Asia to reach China being the main cultural and commercial connection between East and West. Its multiple routes began in the city of Xi’an in China and reached Istanbul in Turkey with more than 8,000 km of route. Some of its most mythical stops are in Uzbekistan, such as Khiva, Samarkand or Bukhara.

The Orient Express

The famous Orient Express is the train service connecting Paris with Istanbul since 1883 using some of the most luxurious and mythical trains in the world. This route is very famous thanks to Agatha Christie’s novels and films like Murder on the Orient Express. The mythical journey between Paris and Istanbul lasts one week and ensure you unforgettable memories.

The Pan-American Highway, one of the great legendary journeys

Within this list of legendary trips, we cannot fail to mention the Pan-American, the longest road in the world, from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego in Patagonia. The Pan-American Highway is a network of roads of about 30,000 km long that to this day is almost complete, except for two sections that pass through the jungle.
